CDL Driver

Multiple Locations - Massachusetts, New Hampshire 

 CDL Moffit/ BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR 

The role requires strong industry/safety protocol knowledge and solid interpersonal skills for working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.  

• To deliver material in a safe and timely manner to the job site as scheduled by the dispatcher
• Assist with the loading and storing of materials
• Properly care for and maintain company vehicles
• Perform all duties safely and productively
• Other duties assigned by the dispatcher/manager
• Deliver materials to job sites as assigned and communicate with customers, employees, and supervisors
• Verifies product, quality, and counts of loads
• Organize and secures loads
• Assist in keeping yard, warehouse, and vehicle neat and clean
• Completes safety pre-check daily equipment inspections
• Communicates any maintenance that may be required to the dispatcher and mechanic
• Follow all operational procedures including but not limited to: invoicing, credits, inspection reports, and deliveries
• Assist with unloading materials of returned items for credits
• Report any vehicle and/or property damage to the dispatcher immediately
• Attend all required training and monthly safety meetings
• Exposure to inclement weather while working outside
• Work close to others, especially when unloading trucks
• Wear all proper safety gear

• CDL A or B license and health card required
• Must be insurable for driving and have a clean DMV record
• Will be driving a commercial motor vehicle across state lines (interstate)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to remain focused and calm
• Ability to convey information in a prompt clear manner
• Must be able to work outside year-round
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Must be able to lift 50-85 pounds repeatedly
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 40+ hour workweek
• Must be available for overtime as needed
